Active materials and electrolytes

Our central topic in the area of active materials and electrolytes is the evaluation and validation of the interactions of materials used at the battery cell level. In addition, we enable the analysis and optimization of new formulations with regard to their processability on an industrial scale.

For this purpose, we validate technologies on the basis of high-quality samples of individual electrodes up to complete cells, which we manufacture individually according to your specifications. Corresponding cells are suitable as a basis for statistically usable statements and can be reliably produced on our production lines.

After successful validation of a technology, it can be transferred to an industrial scale with our future production infrastructure. We can make adjustments to the formulations in interaction with production technology and prevailing process conditions. In addition, we enable long-term validation and performance of cyclic life tests in the sense of "battery benchmarking". The result is the rapid qualification of material innovations in a real production environment and the shortening of time-to-market.
