Institute Directors

Prof. Dr. Jens Tübke, Prof. Dr. Achim Kampker and Prof. Dr. Simon Lux together form the institute management of Fraunhofer FFB. With their interdisciplinary expertise in the fields of electrochemistry, mechanical engineering, production technology and industrial battery cell development, the three institute directors are providing strategic impetus for the development of a research infrastructure for ecological and economical battery cell production in Germany. In this way, they are shaping the Fraunhofer FFB not only as a central institution for innovation, but also as a project with lighthouse character in the transfer between research and industrial application.
