Schoolchildren, students, young and experienced professionals can join us in the fields of science, technology, administration and IT. We offer various options for doing this:
We only accept online applications via our application system. For every job advertisement, you can access the online form using the »Apply« button.
Your application should contain a convincing cover letter, a detailed curriculum vitae, relevant certificates and, if available, certificates of internships and/or part-time jobs.
Step 1: Receipt of the application
Make the start: If you have found a suitable job advertisement or would like to send us a speculative application, complete your application via our online portal. You will then receive a confirmation of receipt from us.
Step 2: Application screening
Now it is our turn: After receiving your application, we will carefully examine it and decide together with the specialist departments how the process will proceed. As a rule, you will receive initial feedback from us within two weeks after your application.
Step 3: Interview(s)
If we like your application, you will receive an email with a suggested date for an interview with us.
We will get to know each other in the first interview via video conference. If you and we think that we could be a good match, we will invite you to a second interview. For some positions we carry out an individual and group assessment center after the initial interview.
Step 4: Decision
After the interviews, we exchange ideas and make a decision together. We will contact you by phone within five working days to give you feedback.
Step 5: Acceptance and contract offer
A decision by us for you also requires a decision by you for us. You will receive a written confirmation of employment from us. We are more than happy to give you a reasonable period of time to think about it after you have accepted the job before we draw up the employment contract.
Step 6: Welcome as a new employee of the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production FFB
After signing the employment contract, we can welcome you as a new employee. For induction, you will go through an onboarding program and we will provide you with a mentor.
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft adheres to the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the GDPR. You can withdraw your application at any time or delete your profile in the applicant portal. If you do not delete it yourself, we will keep your data in our database for a maximum of six months after the application process has been completed.
