Energy consumption of Clean and Dry Rooms

A total of 8 dehumidification systems have been installed at "FFB PreFab". These systems are designed to reduce humidity to a dew point of -60°C, corresponding to an extremely low absolute humidity of approximately 0.05%. As they require a lot of cooling, heat, and electricity, they are the largest energy consumer in the FFB Prefab.

Different technologies are used to generate heat for the regeneration of air. The PreFab is equipped mainly with electric heating in combination with a three-rotor dehumidification system to maintain a low regeneration air temperature. These installed systems are highly energy efficient and do not rely on thermal combustion to heat the regeneration air.
